An Important Note To Racing Pigeons

Generally, racing pigeons occur when there is a group of pigeons gathered in a specific liberation point and then released at the same time. The time of release is then recorded. Depending on the kind of race, the birds should return to their lofts or home and are clocked in. Timing Clock

This is the device that records the time that the pigeon has arrived home. This is where the special bar coded rubber band on the pigeon's leg is placed for timekeeping.

Training Basket

Also known as carriers, these are the small and portable containers that provide the ease in transporting the pigeons. Many of the training baskets can carry up to 12 pigeons.
